The Oxford Global Health & Bioethics International Conference takes place every two years. The next conference will take place on 26 & 27 June 2023 at Keble College, Oxford and online.

The conference will focus on the ethical issues in global health that are most in need of sustained and substantial attention from researchers, funders and policy makers. We particularly welcome submissions that include consideration of climate change, decolonisation, gender or polarisation and their relationship with ethics and global health.

Visit the conference web page for full details.

In June 2022, the conference brought together two hundred people, from 39 countries, working in the field of global health ethics including bioethicists, frontline researchers, health professionals, humanities scholars, policymakers and scientists. The conference programme focused on advancing knowledge and capacity, and exploring societal wellbeing, across themes of social justice, public health, clinical research, infectious diseases and digital health.
